Saturday June 7, Trippin' to Tennessee. Riding to the Tennessee State Rally for the Day. We plan to leave the dealership at 9:00 am, and ride to Marryville TN, via Hwy 129, better known as the Dragon. Yes, there is something on the other side. Plan to leave around 4 pm to head back via Sevierville and I-40. For anyone who wants to stay later, I will have extra copies of directions back to Waynesville. The admission to the rally is $20. |

| 17 | Tuesday June 17, Moonlight on the Parkway. Meet at Ingles on Russ Ave. at the new Starbucks at 8:30 pm. Caffeine for those of us that need help staying up past dark will be there too. We will get on 23/74, pass the dealership to get on the Parkway. Enjoy the Parkway loop with a stop at Waterrock Knob. With luck we will see the sunset and moon rise at the same time, and proceed on the Parkway to exit at Maggie Valley. Afterwards everyone can head home. |

Friday night ride to Sylva via the "Back Roads". Meet at the Harley store at 6 p.m. Don and Renie will show you the back roads to Sylva. Once there we'll eat Mexican at El Paciffico. (Their favorite Mexican Resturant). After dinner we'll find some dessert and find our way home. |

Don and Renie are leading a bug ride. They will supply the bulls eyes. Put one on your windscreen or helment. After the ride if your bulls eye has a big bug splat in the middle of your bulls eye you win the prize! We'll start from the Harley store at 5pm. Bring your Harley, your riding partner, and some dinner money. |

We are planning a Poker run for the 5th Annual Mater Festival Canton. (Check back for details..... Tomatoes are everywhere! A fun weekend of crafts, antiques, live music,
and dancing. Covered wagon rides. Antique car show. Kids and teen fun
zone. Miss Tomato Princess Contest. Chainsaw competition. Tomato Bash
Contest. Fried Green Tomatoes and lots of other food and fun. |

Jack Dodds will lead a ride starting at Waynesville HD to the Blueridge to 19 to Bryson City to Jack's Gap to 74 to Wayah Road to 64 to Cashiers to 107 to 23 to home. About 156 miles. Leaving Ghost Town Harley Davidson at 10:00 with Lunch at Jimmy Macks in Bryson City. Return mid afternoon. |

Haywood County Toy Run: Registration: 10:00 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. Bring an Unwrapped Toy or $10. Parade Begins at High Noon! Pisgah High School. Riders coming from east of Haywood County are strongly encouraged to exit I-40 at George's Branch near east Canton and take the old business highway 19/23 into Canton, NC in order to avoid the construction on Champion Drive and the bridge replacment on Bridge Street. Riders coming from the West should travel through Clyde, NC to Canton on Business 19/23 east and approach Pisgah High School from western Canton and Radio Hill. All bikes welcome! Ride will end at the Wheels Through Time Museum in Maggie Valley. Door prizes, food, music and 50/50. Proceeds to Benefit Local Children. Info call 828 400-5312. This is tentative information. |

Henderson County Toy Run: Fletcher Community Park, Howard Gap Road, Fletcher, NC (Take exit 44 off I-26 and go North on Highway 25, past Smiley's Flea Market to Howard Gap Road, Turn right, Cross RR Tracks and park in on the left.) Registration: 11:00 a.m. - 1:45 p.m. Parade will leave park at 2:00 p.m. Lunch will be provided with a donation of a new $10 toy or $10. Door prizes, 50/50 drawing, T-shirts. Public invited to attend motorcycle parade down Main Street Hendersonville ending at the new court house. All donations will benefit the abused and neglected children of Henderson County. Sponsored by Henderson County Law Enforcement, Fletcher Parks and Recreation, Christian Motorcyclists Association, concerned citizens, area motorcyclists and businesses. Gate opens at 10:00 a.m. and parade starts at 1:00 p.m. Admission: Unwrapped toy worth $10 or more or $10 donation. Music - 4th annual chili cook-off (10:00 a.m. until noon) Margie Steven's Memorial best decorated bike contest starts at 10:00 a.m. Registration ends at 11:45 a.m. NEW START LOCATION: South Charlotte Street (adjacent to T.K. Tripps Restaurant) in downtown Asheville, NC Police escourted ride will travel through Beaucatcher Tunnel on US Hwy 70 to Gene Lummus Harley-Davidson in Swannanoa. Event Categories
Chapter activities are conducted primarily for the benefit of H.O.G. chapter members. There are three categories of activities, all activities are identified as follows:
Closed events are those chapter events which are open to chapter members and one guest per member.
Member events are events that are open only to our Chapter H.O.G. members.
Open events are those chapter events which are open to chapter members, national H.O.G. members and other guests as desired.
If you are interested in becoming a H.O.G. chapter member, come to one of our monthly meetings. We'll be glad to answer your questions. You may also check at the Ghost Town Harley-Davidson dealership for more information.
